Just a few things to know before ordering!

 Whether you’re here for custom cookies, a cake, cookie bars, or one of my seasonal treats, please take a moment to read through the details below so we’re all on the same page.

These policies apply to all orders placed with YMM Cookie House unless otherwise stated in a specific product listing or preorder.

Pricing

Custom Sugar Cookies

Custom decorated sugar cookies in my signature recipe (salted vanilla lemon) start at $65 per dozen, with a minimum order of one dozen.

Final pricing depends on the complexity of your designs, includingz the level of detail, colours, and decorating techniques required.

Specialty flavours start at $6 per cookie, with a minimum order of one dozen.

Each custom dozen includes up to four different designs. Additional designs or intricate details may affect the final price.

Please note that copyrighted characters, images, and logos cannot be reproduced without appropriate authorization.

Logo Cookies

Custom logo cookies start at $70 per dozen, with final pricing depending on the design and level of detail.

Other Sweet Treats

Pricing for cakes, cookie bars, DIY kits, seasonal collections, and other treats varies by product.

Current pricing and product details will be listed on the website, in preorder announcements, or provided when you inquire.

All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Availability & Booking

All orders are subject to availability and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

You can check availability by submitting an inquiry through my website or reaching out through social media or email.

Please keep in mind that availability can change at any time as new orders are confirmed.

Inquiring about a date does not reserve it. Your order is only considered booked once the details have been confirmed and the required payment has been received.

For seasonal preorders and limited-quantity products, availability may be restricted by the number of items offered.

Placing an Order & Payment

Ready to order? You can submit an inquiry through my website or reach out directly through social media or email.

Once we’ve finalized the details, an invoice will be sent to your email through Square, where you can pay securely by credit card.

Prefer to pay by e-transfer? No problem! Just let me know and I’ll send along the payment information.

Invoices must be paid within 72 hours of being issued. Unpaid invoices will automatically be cancelled after this period, and your requested date or products will no longer be reserved.

For seasonal preorders and limited releases, payment deadlines may differ and will be clearly stated when ordering.

Cash and personal cheques are not accepted at this time.

Pickup Information

All local orders are available for pickup from my home-based bakery in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The exact pickup address and arrangements will be provided privately with your confirmed order.

Pickup dates and times are arranged in advance, and I ask that you make every effort to arrive within your scheduled window.

If you’re unable to make your selected pickup time, please reach out as soon as possible.

Orders not collected during their scheduled window may be placed in the designated pickup bin on my front porch, provided the products and conditions are suitable for unattended pickup.

Once an order has been placed in the pickup bin, I am not responsible for theft, damage, or deterioration resulting from it being left unattended, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

For items requiring refrigeration or special handling, alternate pickup arrangements may be necessary.

Once your order has been collected, proper handling, transportation, and storage become your responsibility. Please follow any care instructions provided with your order or sent to you directly.

I am not responsible for damage caused by improper transportation, handling, or storage after pickup.

Delivery is not available at this time.

Cancellations & Order Credits

Because my products are prepared in limited quantities or made specifically for each order, all sales are final for change-of-mind cancellations, subject to the exceptions below and applicable consumer protection laws.

Custom Orders

Payments for custom orders are non-refundable for change-of-mind cancellations.

However, if you need to cancel and provide at least seven days’ notice before your originally scheduled pickup or shipping date, your payment may be transferred toward a future order.

Transferred credits must be used within six months of the original pickup or shipping date and are subject to availability.

Credits cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another customer.

Seasonal Preorders & Ready-Made Products

Seasonal preorders, limited releases, and ready-made products are final sale for change-of-mind cancellations once payment has been received, unless otherwise stated at the time of ordering.

Because these products are often prepared in specific quantities, cancellations, refunds, and transfers are not guaranteed.

Cancellations on My End

In the unlikely event that an emergency or unexpected circumstance prevents me from fulfilling your order, you will receive a full refund for any products I am unable to provide.

Changes to Your Order

Need to make a change? Please reach out as soon as possible!

Requests to change designs, flavours, quantities, or pickup dates are subject to availability and my ability to accommodate them.

Because orders require planning, preparation, and sometimes materials purchased specifically for your treats, changes cannot always be guaranteed.

Approved changes that affect the total cost of your order may require an updated invoice and additional payment.

Order Concerns

I put a lot of care into everything that leaves my kitchen, and I always want you to be happy with your treats!

If something isn’t quite right, please reach out within 24 hours of receiving your order whenever possible so I have the opportunity to understand and address your concerns.

Photos may be requested, and for concerns involving product quality or condition, I may ask that the uneaten portion be returned within that 24-hour period for assessment.

Any resolution will depend on the circumstances and may include a replacement, credit, or refund where appropriate.

Nothing in these policies limits your rights or remedies under applicable consumer protection laws.

Food Allergies & Storage

All products are prepared in a home-based kitchen where common allergens, including wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts, may be present.

While care is taken during preparation, I cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or eliminate the possibility of cross-contact.

If you have a food allergy or dietary concern, please reach out before ordering so we can discuss the ingredients and suitability of the products.

For the best quality and freshness, please follow the storage and care instructions provided with your order.
